Legacy Society
It is a special type of person who provides for his or her community.
Through The Legacy Society, the Golden Belt Community Foundation
recognizes the thoughtful and generous decisions of those who have
provided for the Foundation in their estates.
To honor those who have informed us of bequests, insurance policies, trusts, or other planned gifts, we name
them members of The Legacy Society, and we list these benefactors for the purpose of encouraging others to
follow their example.
We also are aware of others who have chosen to inform us, but prefer that their decisions remain confidential.
We greatly appreciate the far-reaching concern for the future of their communities that these individuals have
shown.
Their gifts will provide a lasting legacy.
You are invited to join this tradition of
extraordinary generosity by adding your
legacy to those of others who realize the
importance of a permanent
community endowment.
Gifts may take the form of bequests,
charitable remainder trusts,
appreciated assets, gifts of retirement plans, life insurance, or other types of planned gifts.
Many people set aside a certain dollar amount; others leave a percentage of their estate, or any assets left over
after family needs are met.
If you would like more information about planned giving or membership in
The Legacy Society, please contact us.
